Mr. Heyer is an experienced attorney who is in charge of the company's business and legal affairs.Mr. Heyer has played a key role in obtaining our Part 135 certificate, developing our charter business and building the intrastructure that supports our operations. As President, he is responsible for ensuring that the company maintains the highest levels of safety and operational excellence in the industry.
Before joining DC Global in 2005, Mr. Heyer was a partner in a major D.C. law firm with more than 20 years experience representing large corporations in significant matters. In the aviation field, he represented Northrop Grumman, McDonnell Douglas, Litton, Sextant, L-3 and ACSS. He participated in the GE-Honeywell, Boeing-McDonnell Douglas, and Allied Signal-Honeywell merger proceedings before the European and U.S. antitrust authorities. In the courtroom, his success includes the largest antitrust and patent litigation in the aviation industry.
Mr. Heyer is a graduate of Cornell Law School. He holds a B.A., Summa Cum Laude with distinction in Economics from Union College and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
