Michael Wilhelm, Director of Operations

A Baltimore, Maryland native, Michael J. Wilhelm earned a B.S. and Military Commission from Penn State University. His professional aviation career includes experience as a military, airline, medevac and corporate pilot. As a former military pilot, Michael flew the most senior US military and DOD officials throughout the world in support of combat and diplomatic operations. In addition, Michael served in numerous flight operations, aviation logistics, maintenance and leadership positions. In his four-year airline career, Michael flew jets throughout the United States and Canada. Additionally, Michael flew part 135 medevac helicopters and continues to serve the military on a part time basis. Michael is qualified to fly numerous military and civilian aircraft and has type ratings in both the B737 and the Global Express. Michael’s diverse and extensive aviation experience combined with his exemplary professional performance typifies the DC Global culture. His total commitment to safety and customer service ensures our customer’s total satisfaction.

 

Frank Mattioli, Director of Maintenance

Frank Mattioli joined us in 2003 as our Director of Maintenance. He played an integral part in the formation of the company and development of our Part 135 Certification. His extensive Aviation Maintenance background includes all
aspects of Aviation. Franks’ twenty three plus year career started with an enlistment in the USAF. He then spent nine years working for Sikorsky Aircraft on the Blackhawk Helicopter program. After a brief stint working heavy line maintenance at TIMCO in North Carolina, He went to work for the Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita Kansas. During his eight years of employment with Bombardier, Frank worked on the Global Express, CRJ700, CRJ900 and Global 5000 Certification programs. He also supported sustaining activities for the CRJ200 and Challenger600/604. Frank is currently a member of the Global Platform Advisory Committee. All of which supports his dedication to the safety culture of our organization.

Roger Donmoyer, Chief Pilot

Roger joins DC Global with over 20 years of aviation experience.  His commitment to corporate aviation over the past 14 years includes service as a Captain and Chief Pilot for several major US corporations in both domestic and international operations.  In addition to type ratings in several jet aircraft including the Global Express and Falcon 900, Roger holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic’s ratings. His background in aircraft maintenance complements his extensive flight experience and strengthens our commitment to safe and efficient operations.   With a nearly 20 year South American background his extensive cross-cultural experience brings unique insight into the needs of our international clientele.  Roger’s commitment to the safety and comfort of our guests while aboard our Global Express typifies the high quality travel experience that can be expected on every flight with DC Global. 

Tim Bussard, Captain

Tim brings 29 years of corporate flight experience to his role of Captain. He has 11,100 flight hours and 11 type ratings in various corporate jets including Citations, Falcons, Westwinds, Learjets, Gulfstreams, Challengers and the Global Express. Before his employment with DC Global, Tim was Captain for a large worldwide Part 135 charter provider and previously for several corporate flight departments located in the Washington Baltimore area. He has 3 college degrees in the areas of Aviation Management, Business Administration, and Sales/Marketing. Having begun flying at age 17, Tim has been a corporate pilot his entire career. His goal is to provide clients with safe and efficient flights in the Global Express with emphasis on providing first-in-class service.

Matt Burch, Pilot

Matt is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Science with emphasis in Corporate Aviation. Growing up around aviation as the son of a 27 year airline pilot, he brings the knowledge of large as well as small flight departments. Matt holds seven type ratings in various corporate aircraft which include Falcons, Hawkers, Gulfstreams, Dorniers, as well as the Global Express. In his 12 years of flying he has had the opportunity to work with different 135 and 91 owner operators. He has risen up through the ranks and initially began learning this trade by washing, waxing, and maintaining the airplanes. He has grown professionally and is both able to fly and utilize the steps necessary to help our flight department run smoothly. He has developed firsthand knowledge of what it takes to keep customers returning to fly with us at DC Global. Matt is dedicated to providing our customers with the safest and most efficient way to accomplishing their travels.
